-
June 24th - 28th and July 1st - 4th during the day
The work will start at 8am and finish at 4pm each day.
-
On June 28th the cherry picker will be moved for the evening to give full access to the top out, and will only close off 3 climbs in the cave section/comp wall area.
While the build is going on, the far end of the comp wall/top out section will be affected. And occasionally the mezzanine.
-
A new level of climbing for excitement, enjoyment and for those of you wanting to take your bouldering one step higher... Our very own Yonder High Wall!
This new addition will extend above a section of our competition wall, giving additional vertical climbing in our mezzanine space, and will create eight metres of steep overhung climbing for you to try out.
-
It has been a conversation for a long time coming, we’ve been good at keeping it a secret!
We wanted to allow more time for communication to our customers however, due to labour constraints we had to start it MUCH sooner than expected.
-
It will cause the same amount of noise as a traditional route-setting day.
-
When in use, the safety procedures surrounding the high ball consists of dragging out a large Air Bag to catch falls underneath. For this reason it won't always be out!
Have no fear - We have lots of fun events/ members lock-ins and more planned for when access will be permitted to customers.
Additional climbing on the mezzanine will always be open
We’re hoping to have a monthly/bi monthly lock in event where customers can learn how to use it/use it safely.
There will be some restrictions surrounding brand new climbers, but we will be offering ways of training people to have access to the wall. more to come on this
When the HighBall is not in use, the holds at the top will be removed/covered so that you know when to climb down and where the route ends.
