ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Gong and sound journey to feel relaxed, calm and safe. Using planetary gongs, Ancient Tibetan Bowls and Essential oils to release endorphins, release blocks, reduce tension and stimulate circulation to carry you into deeper states.

The techniques used are tailored to help relax and yet stimulate the system, allowing for the stress hormones and Cortisol to reduce, lowering blood pressure and heart rate. This helps to slip into an Altered State of Consciousness similar to that before sleep or deep meditation. Brain waves lower their rate into Alpha and Theta where self healing, cellular repair occurs

WHAT TO BRING

What to bring:

  • Wear loose, warm, comfortable clothing

  • A pillow for your head

Yoga mats, bolsters, blankets, and eye pillows will be provided.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE

Arrive 10 minutes before the start to find your place and settle in

IMPORTANT NOTE: Gong baths are not suitable for anyone with a pacemaker, anyone who suffers from fits (epileptics), or anyone who is extremely sensitive to sound. They are also not recommended for women in the first trimester of pregnancy due to the unstable nature of pregnancy during that time. If you wear a hearing aid, your device should be turned off during the session. If you have any concerns, please speak with your doctor in advance.
